1) Media Companies mostly use income, age, race, gender, etc for demographic profiles of their audiences.
2) They use audience profiling so that they can predict the age, profile group (income) ,etc.
3)The seven different Psychographic groups are The Aspirer is for status, The reformer is enlighten, The explorer is discovery, The mainstream is security, The succeeder is for control, The struggler is seeking for escape, The resigned is aiming to survive.
4) The aspirer is status, This makes us predict that they want to be upper class rather then lower class, Makes them more eager to work hard enough to succeed in life. The reformer is enlighten, This makes us predict that the reformer is looking to enjoy life, spend money, Go on holidays, etc. The explorer is discovery, This makes us predict that the explorer wants to go on mystery events such as going in adventures to caves, Going fishing, going in forests, etc. The mainstream is security, This means that the person might be a celebrity and needs security 24/7. The succeeder is control, This makes us predict that the person might want to be in control ( Owning a business) Being In charge and Succeeding In life by a large amount. The struggler is escape, This makes us predict that they want to make money to survive but not to less to struggle. The resigned is aimed to survive, They have took off their job because they are over 70, They can not work anymore because of old age but they don't make enough money from pension.
