1) Which part of Media are you looking forward to the most?

2) What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?

9) Are you on social media? If so, what social media do you have and why do you like it? 

10) Finally, do you think the media is a positive or negative thing for young people? Why?

Answers:

1) I'm looking forward to learn new things about media and learn more about designing, It also helps with knowing what to do online.
2) I'm trying to learn how to annotate media and write long paragraphs with much more knowledge about the outside world.
3) I'm looking to achieve a 9 but I think if I receive a 8 I wouldn't mind.
4) I think I mostly use my phone to check social media but I also listen to music with my phone (With Air pods) I watch the news mostly on laptop but I also do on my phone and television
5) I now have a screen time average of 6 hours a day and on weekdays , I go to work so I have a screen time of 1 hour on weekends, I used to be lazy on weekends and do nothing so I used to have a screen time of 15 hours. ( Big impact)
6)The last film i watched was sinners.
7)I listen to music on my phone and use air pods, I also use my laptop sometimes whilst doing some work.
8) I play GTA, COD And RL on my PS5
9) I use TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and I like it because most of the news comes up on there.
10) I think most of the media is a good thing for young people but some new things have come up such as fake news and AI has now hit  the media and is going viral to trick people into thinking things are true.

PARAGRAPH FOR EKCHIT  In the opening scene of Stranger Things, the mise-en-scène helps show that the story is set in the 1980s and gives it a creepy and mysterious feeling. The characters wear old-fashioned clothes like big jackets and patterned shirts, which shows the time period. The lighting is dark and shadowy, especially in the lab and the woods, which makes everything feel more tense and scary. The actors do a good job acting like normal kids who are scared but also curious and brave. There isn’t a lot of makeup, which makes the characters look more real. The props like walkie-talkies, board games, and old TVs help show it’s the 80s and also show how the kids use their imagination. The settings, like the quiet neighborhood and the spooky lab, show the difference between normal life and the strange things happening in the story.

Mise-en-scene

Title of Clip Costume & Make-Up Lighting & Colour Actor Movement/ Placement Setting & Props Iron Man 3 High technology, Halloween Vibes. Dark colours make the setting feel dark.  It showed that superman was a bit aggressive (Showing his full strength)   It was neat, High tech, Fabulous Background.  RDR2 The costumes give vibes like cowboys.  It was old fashioned colours  Fearless and Intimidating  Wild West  Stranger Things Scary (old fashioned)   Very dark coloured   Trying to escape. Normal children activities  Nike  They have loads of choice in fashion Lightful colours      They have posters for immediate attention.   High fashioned.
